Product Care
Our jewellery is thoughtfully designed and crafted for everyday wear. However, over time, it may naturally develop discoloration due to various factors such as exposure to moisture, chemicals, and air. Precious metals like silver and gold are delicate and, despite careful handling, can still fade due to oxidation.
This guide provides simple care tips to help maintain your jewellery’s quality and extend its lifespan.
Please note: The gradual wearing off of gold plating is a normal result of regular use and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
How to Prolong the Life of Your Jewellery
While our jewellery is water-resistant, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, or exercising. Or ensure to wipe completely dry after coming into contact with moisture.
Apply perfumes, lotions, and creams before putting on your jewellery to minimise direct contact with chemicals.
After wearing, gently clean your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth (each order includes a jewellery polishing cloth) to remove oils and dust, helping to maintain its shine.
Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place to prevent oxidation, scratches, and tangled chains.
Avoid knocking your jewellery against hard surfaces or rubbing pieces together, as damage caused by mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault.
How to Clean Your Jewellery
Wipe after each wear – Make it a habit to gently wipe your jewellery with a soft cloth or a jewellery cloth to remove any buildup.
Soak for deep cleaning – Mix warm water with a few drops of mild soap in a small bowl. Let one piece soak for 5–10 minutes. Then dry completely after soaking.
Remove dirt – For any stubborn dirt in crevices, use a cotton swab or a soft-bristled baby toothbrush to gently clean it.
Dry and polish – Rinse the jewellery thoroughly, then use a soft, lint-free cloth to dry and buff it to restore its shine.
By following these simple steps, you can keep your jewellery looking beautiful for longer.
How to Fix a Loose Hoop or Huggie Earring
Hoops and huggies are everyday favorites. You might have noticed that over time the closure could become a bit loose, failing to click into place as tightly as it used to.
That is normal due to the nature of their design. Luckily you can easily fix this issue right at home!
Open the earring and gently pull the post upwards. This small adjustment should make the earring click tightly into place.
If you have pulled too far, gently push down to loosen, adjusting as needed.
This easy fix will keep your earrings working like new!
